El Cousteau, a Washington DC native, began his music career in 2015, quickly making a name for himself with the release of  &#34;Chef,&#34; &#34;Straight Drop Season Vol 1 &amp; 2,&#34; and the highly acclaimed &#34;Dirty Harry.&#34; His innovative sound and compelling lyrics garnered attention from prominent publications like the Washington Post, NPR, and Pitchfork. 

El Cousteau has received attention from notable artists including ASAP Rocky, Teezo Touchdown, MIKE, and Earl Sweatshirt, further solidifying his place in the music industry. Known for his unique vocals and hard-hitting lyrics, he has carved out his own subgenre of rap, known as JAMMER MUSIC.
