Born in Havana, she grew up between exile and music. At thirty years old, she offers an album of great maturity, a tribute to her grandmother, to the women of the continent, to resilience and beauty. This project echoes Violeta Parra, Beny Moré, Bola de Nieve, and Omara Portuondo — an unbroken line with the great voices of Cuban memory.

Ana Carla Maza is the new voice of Cuba, a multifaceted artist: cellist, singer, and composer who embodies the excellence and renewal capacity of the new Cuban generation. With an impressive stage career, she has already performed in numerous prestigious venues and festivals in Europe and beyond.

Among the important venues and festivals that have marked her career are BlueNote Milano, Jazzwoche Burghausen, the Paris Jazz Festival, and, more recently, Jazz à Vienne and the EFG London Jazz Festival 2025.

With over 400 concerts in 25 countries, Ana Carla Maza has established herself as one of the leading figures of the current jazz and world music scene, bringing cultures and emotions together with grace, intensity, and lightness.
